That has to be the cheapest team presentation in a long time. You'd think the ASO are strapped for cash.
At least the RCS make a bit of an effort.
Maybe they forked out a few bob for the rent a rabble, crowd.

Where I was watching (not UK), the simplicity, and lack of pomp, was applauded as a change in the right direction.

They used the amphitheatre at Puy du Fou for the last rider presentation in the Vendee, and the time before that (2005) was a similar format to last night. The riders do a loop around the town so the general public can see them, before they hit the stage. It's a much more open way though not as flash.

Given the rather hostile reception recieved by Team Sky and Froome especially i just hope tensions and tempers calm down enough for it to be a memorable tour and not a tour where Sky and Froome are booed throughout.
