Cycing on a bit of the Velothon route this Sunday

I've planned a route with some friends that takes us into Usk.. Mrs C has just reminded me that it's Velothon day and most of the roads are closed. Any idea what access there's likely to be for public cyclists for a few miles?

Plenty of riders do the whole event without entering, think of them as you will.
Just go ahead and ride, nobody will be manning barricades to stop you riding, where will you be joining, I'll let you know if it'll cause you any problems?

The roads are closed, but as long as you are riding the same direction as the velothon, you should be ok.

If you're riding the opposite direction, less so.

Just plan a different route... it's not that Usk is so unmissable anyway...
