i spec ii mounting issues

Hi all.

I have Deore M6000 levers which are i spec ii and M7000 shifter which is currently bar mounted. Any idea if there’s a way of changing the shifter to mount using i spec? FYI this doesn’t seem to fit! It looks like the oem ispec shifter uses a slightly different lower assembly to the bar mounted. So you can’t just replace the top with this one. Because, that would just be too easy!
