Hi All,

So I recently started cycling since Feb. I need advice on buying cycling glasses, I wear prescription glasses but recently made the move to contacts - so need a good pair of sunglasses.

I got two of Amazon Duco and Torege, however both of these didn't seem to fit quite well the nose clip area seem very narrow and they don't seem to fit like prescription glasses or my normal sunglasses. Seems to be a bigger gap at the bottom and I can get my index finger in between lens and face! Pretty sure that's not how they fit right?

I have returned the Amazon ones and now want to buy them locally bad news is there aren't many shops here for cycling gear if there are I'm looking at paying £70 for cycling glasses and I don't want to spend that kinda money for cycling especially since I just started.

So question is how is the fit supposed to be and what good brand to buy, looking at price range of £30/40, with interchangeable lenses.

  • I have these. I like them. They also do a photochromatic pair as well. Save the need for changing lenses

I bought mine from the local chandlery. Gul sailing glasses that work brilliant and cost £15 so I don't mind if I lose them or the MFs eat them.

I recommend you don't just stick to cycling glasses because like everything that has the word "cycling" near it its overpriced by about 10 million per cent because its all got so trendy.

Lots of people also use safety glasses with good reports. Few pounds a pop.

Yeah looked at these as well, not bad I am considering but probably would prefer polarised as well.

As with the fit how should it be (or is it what I'm comfortable with?).

That's how the other two glasses fitted it has a slightly big gap under the lens which I really don't like, plus I can feel wind passing in at times.

Sorry might sound stupid, but I'm new to all this.

I also have the £3.99 ones from decathlon. They are decent too.
