Had a look at the new models in the speshi shop yesterday, sat on one tested reach etc... Wizz round the car park and tbh loved it! The carbon comp model seems perfect for my needs and interest free finance will keep my money in the bank!
So the new models seem smaller, I tried a med and normally my bike size is small so the sizes have changed.
The reason I’m here has anyone got one of the new stumpys how do the live in the real world? Has Antoine fitted plus tyres and is the clearance as good as they say? I’ve got a fuse so was hoping to fit my 650b+ wheels in.
The other thing there’s another bike in the frame, I’m interested in the trek fuel ex 8 plus, trying to justify one over the other...
Speshi comes with carbon frame,11 speed xt, 130mm travel, 29er boost wheels and is £800 more than the trek.
The trek, alloy frame, 12 speed sram, plus wheels, 140mm travel, and the big thing it’s not currently released...last years model completely sold out, waiting for this years to be announced..
What to do???
