How to fit last chainring "hidden" bolt on SRAM Force Compact

Sorry if this is really obvious but I just swapped the chainrings (same size) on a SRAM Force compact chainset and the 5th bolt is hidden meaning it is obscured by the driveside crank arm. However unlike my recollection of the RED22 chainset where the bolt screws into the carbon arm, on the Force there is still a 2 part bolt and the female end is very tightly obscured behind the crank arm. The bottom line is I cannot tighten the male end of the chainring bolt into this 5th hidden bolt because the receiving end just keeps rotating and there is not space to get any kind of tool there. A bit stuck, what am I doing wrong? thanks!

I think it's supposed to be self tightening nut if you have female side in correctly

afaik the nut that fits into the chainring at the hidden position is supposed to be knurled with a tight fit, you need to press it into the chainring, then the bolt can be screwed into it

have you got the correct nut at that position? the others will be standard ones that will just spin around

Hi. Just bought a new FSA chainring for my SRAM Rival. The existing FSA chainring fitted at the LBS has this nut in position but the new chainring (supplied by the LBS) does not.

Is it possible to press the old one out of the old chainring and into the new one, or failing that buy such a nut? Or should I go back to the LBS, which means skipping off work early again?
