I’ve just got a Colnago C64 and am looking to put the Di2 battery in the fork steerer and use pro bars and stem to hide everything, is this possible.

Why not the seat tube?
Weightweenies forum may have your answer. How long a steerer tube are you planning of having?
Disc or not, as it does make a difference as the newer 64 fork will have internal routing in the steerer for hydro cables too IIRC.0 -
Thought if I put it in the fork I could have now cables showing. The pro bars and stem conceal all the wires.0

Stem will be slammed on a 54s non disc frame.0

Seat tube battery will also have fully concealed cables with pro vibe setup.

Good question. Basically through the stem and shrink wrapped to the brake cable.0

Yes it will be fine, also use the par one method to elimate the need for tubes in a standard clincher. This isn’t poss in a rim brake version since the heat from the rim is beyond the omega portion level
Required: the c64 has this covered though providing it’s the electronic set up. : no not an etap0 -

Does this help at all?
Sorry I'm not being a huge amount of use but I can see your dilemma.
Shrink wrapping the electronic cable to the rear brake outer is all I can think of.0 -

Shimano do a specific steerer tube compression device that also holds the battery. They're quite hard to get hold of though. You could get it to work without though if you really wanted to. The PRO stem has a small hole designed to route the etube- you just have to leave enough gap, but it's clearly marked.
To be honest, I don't rate the whole bar end junction set-up. I have it on my Addict- bar end junction box/ charge port, with Dfly Bluetooth transmitter in serial in the downtube, and the battery in the seat tube. Yes, it's a clean look, but the bar end fitting is nowhere near as easy to use as the regular under stem box, It's very hard to press the program button, ESPECIALLY if you need to trim on-the-fly!
I wouldn't buy again. There's a reason the pro's don't bother with it methinx...
Dfly is nice though- esp with the Dura Ace hood buttons to toggle your Garmin/ Wahoo or whatever
Oh, and when you mention the Vibe bars, do you mean the carbon ones or alloy? The alloy ones are superb, BUT they are NOT drilled for true hidden cable routing! They have a hole in the bar centre, but NOT near the shifter hoods. Instead, they have slots near the bar ends and you're supposed to route the wire outside of the bars. It works (as I have it set up), but it's a bit of a guff I think.0
