Hi,
I'm looking for some advice/help re these hubs. They are NOS Campag Record Road hubs, high flange 32 hole, screw on freewheel.
iIve had them about 20 years and they were NOS then! Also D/T levers, band on.
Never been on a bike, only marks from being stored in the box and moved about the garage. I was originally going to build them into wheels for my 64 Scot but it has beautiful 36 spoke low flange hubs and I haven't as yet. I'm also reticent to do so as they are untouched:0
Anyone tell me how old they are and what sort of value are they?

Hubs definitely look like Series 1035 from Catalogue Nr 14. I have the same hubs (32/40) which I bought used in 1964. Sorry no idea of value.

The hubs will run about £90-£100 the pair, perhaps slightly more because they're boxed. You may get more in the run-up to the Eroica or by separating the hubs and skewers. They're Nuovo/Super Record 1035s, http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... &AbsPos=81.
The shifters are more recent, Triomphe 0118061 from 1985 or thereabouts. http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... &AbsPos=49. There are lots of NOS Campag levers about, these will fetch around £35 assuming you find someone who needs clamp fitting and has the right diameter downtube.0 -
Thanks both. Very useful information
I see that they were produced from 60's to 80's so that might be why they were with the 80's levers.
I think I will build them into wheels.plus je vois les hommes, plus j'admire les chiens
