Recommendation for bike build with a budget of ~£1,500

I bought my first road bike, a trusty Specialized Allez, four years ago. It's taken a good beating commuting through London and it's also seen it's fair share of group rides.

I'm now looking to upgrade to something a bit lighter/sexier. I'm thinking about the Bowman Palace R frame with a 105 groupset as the basis for the new bike. However, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other frames/setups with a budget of around £1,500.

I've got some Fulcrum Racing 5s that I'll probably just transfer over, but I may equally keep them on the Specialized for commuting.

Get this. Sell off the Tiagra unused and put new Ultegra on it and swap in your wheels.

As suggested in the Commuting thread, Pauls sale has nice offers like CAAD12 105 Disc and Merida Ultegra Disc for 1200GBP

Keep ridng the Allez for a couple more months and wait until the 2019 bikes are released. Then you can grab a bargain on a 2018 model.
