    There are of plenty of examples of teamwork in the men’s race, There are even several cases where the domestic Conti teams who felt unable to challenge in the senior race have ridden in support of U23 riders from the outset, or have fallen in behind an U23 rider when their own opportunities have diminished during the race.
    Certainly a potential disadvantage, depending on the way the breaks go, if you are pretty much a loner riding against big squads, (usually the WT guys bar Sky)...but these guys just suck it up and get on with it, or try to create alliances with other loners. I’ve not heard complaints. They accept it, indeed, they expect it.
