What is the maximum tyre width you can safely put on a rim with a 19mm internal width ?
I’ve heard off the 1.4 to 2.2 rule with 1.8 being optimal.
What advice would you offer ?

    I've run 32mm CX tyres on 19mm rims without issue.

    2.35", but don't run them at low pressures, otherwise you risk bead coming off the rim in corners.
