Route Advice

Hey all

I was not sure where it would be best to present this question, so road general section it is:

I am trying to plan a route from London to Littlehampton (Not via the Brighton route) as i wanted more scenery.

I have done the below route before https://www.komoot.com/tour/16955730?ref=wtd for most of it it was great, except for the last part of the trip passing amberley the road gets narrow and cars just pass you by way to close.

Has anyone from the area or anyone, in general, knows a better route I can take? I am open to trying an all-new route.

    You could pick up the Downs Link and follow that to Shoreham if you wanted some bang on trend gravel flavour.

    I should have been more specific :) I ride a road bike, One that will not be advised to go on dirt roads :)
