Ok so I just took delivery of my new cube agree sl c62 and whilst putting it together today I noticed some marks/stains mainly on the downtube but in other places, I've done a bit of googling and as it's a Matt black finish I've read that this is normal, ive emailed the shop I bought it from to see what they say ?

I just wondered if this is correct? And if anyone else had any experience with these marks on a carbon frame?

Just after a bit of advice but as usual I get a useless answer on this forum !

If it's a raw carbon / unpainted frame then that's perfectly normal. That's what carbon looks like when it comes out of the mould. You can also see the seams. Quite a few manufacturers have a statement about it on their website because they get a lot of questions from people who think they've been sent a defective frame / fork.

If you don't like the look, go for a fully painted frame, or get yours painted. Extra weight though!
