Blackheath, London and surrounding areas?

Who do we have who’s close to blackheath or surrounding areas who fancies getting together and setting up a group for weekend rides?

Just a suggestion. It can be a multi club event just go out and enjoy some miles

    I did thanks for all your advice, i actually signed up to RCC. Already used my discount, and free coffees and of to NYC in a new months so Im going to rent a bike for central park. I was feeling either a little hungover today or ill and went out later than the shop rides. There are a few RCC members round blackheath i hear, but more the merrier ai.

    Well today i wasnt feeling 100% and managed 15.7mph avg over 40miles with 2,313 ft of climbing. So something around that.

    Woolwich, Catford, Bigfoot(Bromley), Penge, Orpington ....... then further West Dulwich, Brixton and a few adhocs that ride from Crystal Palace.

    At that pace, you are looking at a well paced club ride. If you want a mega workout there is a chaingang from Elmers End which comes back into Bromley. That does everything from 25kmh to 33kmh over 65km. Meet here at 7pm and then go hell for leather, anyone on the ride will introduce you to groups who will suite what you want:

    Seems a bit strange that you don't join a local club and go out on club rides as there's plenty of good options near to you in Blackheath.
