Element bolt, Strava and missing HR/cad

Hopefully someone can help me with this.

My element bolt auto uploads my rides to Strava including the relevant power data. For some reason neither my heart rate or cadence data makes it on to the strava page despite the bolt showing end of ride averages. Both sensors are ant+ Garmin.

I've tried unlinking but this didn't help. Anyone had a similar issue or any ideas on how I can solve it.

    Change the sensor batteries?

If the cadence and hr are showing on the bolt at end of ride, and during, then there is nothing wrong with the sensors.

Is the data showing in the Wahoo app?
If so it is likely to be a Strava thing.

Try uploading the .fit files to another program, eg training peaks. See if the data shows.

If not you could try a hard reset of the bolt itself.

Otherwise raise a ticket with Wahoo.

I don't think Strava uploads HR if it's a turbo session ? Or were you outside ?

The rides in question are all outdoor rides.

It's definitely not a battery issue, the device is receiving the data throughout my rides. The data is on the end of ride summary and can be viewed on the wahoo app and auto uploads to Ride with GPS. It is only Strava that isn't receiving the heart rate and cadence data.

I had a look back through my ride history and the issue started about 2 weeks ago.

What do you reckon, Strava or wahoo issue?

Wahoo have informed me that it's a strava issue due to GDPR. Apparently there is a privacy setting that needs to be changed in order to allow the data to be displayed.

Haven't tried it yet but will update if I make any progress

I have just checked my settings. under Data Permissions is this:

Strava collects and uses health data from paired devices, like a heart rate monitor, to give you interesting and useful performance analysis. We collect this data only from sensors or devices you've connected to Strava. We do not share it without your consent. Learn more

I have this enabled. I dont have any issues with my wahoo and HR / Cadence. Maybe give that a go?

I've tried looking for data permissions in the settings but can't find it anywhere. Any chance of a screen shot?

I'm not on Strava premium if that matters.

You have to do it through the website, not the app.
Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads
Trek 830 Mountain Track frame turned into a gravel bike - for anywhere & everywhere

    Update the Wahoo Element app.

Had problem with rides not syncing and some other data juju hassles, updating to latest version of Wahoo i0S app fixed

I've tried both the app and the website, there is simply not an option for data permissions on my screen.

Wahoo app is up to date so no dice there either.

I've opened a ticket with Strava to see if they can help
