Why no reviews for this very cheap bike with excellent specs

Hello all,

I cannot get Cube Attain GTC PRO disc 2017 in 56 cm so I decided to look elsewhere for a bike I could fit wider tyre on. Gravel bike. Found this one, but I cannot find any reviews. Specs look really good, full carbon, ultegra, for 1000 GBP? What am I missing? Ok breaks seems to be bad, but still mechanical disc. What bothers me is only 11-28 in the back, I think climbing with this bike will be hard. Other than that, some very good specs and I could not find better bike for this price, at least not full carbon + ultegra + wide tyre clearance + more endurance riding positions which is all I am looking for.

thanks for help

Blue bikes I have heard of. The fact its called prosecco would put me off! Google blue bikes. They may have gone under, hence why Merlin are now selling them.

Looks good. Merlin are an excellent retailer and send you stuff when you order it but will expect you to pay if you do. This is not a free bike and they will debit your card if you buy.
  • Here's a short review of what I believe is the same frame but with different components. It should provide some insight. I'm not gonna slag the brand since I'm not familiar with it but makes me wonder of quality of the carbon when complete package comes so cheap.

As far as the lack of reviews go, I assume everyone working at Bikeradar is hoping to test Tarmac's, Madone's, Dogma's etc. And if the brand is offering a bike for testing it will be their top tier model more often than not.

36 up front should be ok with the 28. If not a long cage, new chain and a 34t.. sell the stuff taken off.

I wouldn't buy a cheap plastic frame though. I'd rather have alloy with 105 on the side, from a brand offering a lifetime warranty to bits snapping off. Each to their own I guess.

    Nice croix de fer then.
