Can a Garmin 500 be paired with a Note8 phone

I have a Garmin 500 and will keep it till 2019. I was wondering if I could plug the 500 into my note8 and upload the cycle just done onto Garmin connect?

    Potentially - you need a usb OTG (On the go) cable to link your phone to the garmin, then some software like USB OTG explorer to copy the .fit file off it, you can then upload it via the web browser.

    It's a bit fiddly, and sometimes they just won't talk to each other whatever you do, but most of the time it should be fine.
