Looking to buy a mountain bike with a limit of £1000, limited to Evans cycles due to heath care scheme.
I’m 6’3 and 95kg. Living in north Wales so looking to do trails along with some hill runs.
Narrowed my search down to two bikes.

Norco Fluid 2 HT

And Trek Roscoe 8

Any advice on which to go for or any other suggestions will be a great help!

Both decent bikes. The Norco has a slightly better fork, the Trek better brakes and arguably finishing kit. You can trade in ANY bike (even balance bike I believe) and get £100 off too.

The Jamis Dakar A2 gets good reviews as an entry level full suss too.
