Ultegra Di2 6770 FD Problem

Morning All
A few weeks back I had a somewhat clunky downshift from the big chainring and the bridge at the top of the FD has snapped. I tried using chemical metal to repair to no avail. I understand that the cage can't be replaced separately, so I'll probably have to replace the entire FD.
If I want to buy a new unit, is the newer 6870 11sp FD compatible with the rest of the 10sp setup? The bike is almost 6 years old, and I'm having trouble finding a 6770 unit anywhere.
Cheers

Don't quote me, but it should be. 10 speed or 11 speed, you only have 2 chainrings at the front, which is all the front derailleur is covering. There's no difference in the Junction box A.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0

That was kind of what I thought myself, but as you say, I'll wait and see what the general opinion is. Cheers"Get a bicycle. You won't regret it if you live"
