ThickSlick tyres

I want to buy a pair of thick slicks but the size confuses me. Whatever site I go to it says sizes like 28c. What size is 27.5 inch by 2.1 inch.

    27.5" is 650b (in between old-school 26" MTB and 29er/road bike 700c). 2.1 inch would be 53c (i.e. 53mm wide, i.e. mahoosive mountain bike size).

    Easy way is to go to Chain Reaction or any of the online dealers, search 'tyres', select 'wheel size' in menu down the left and then select 27.5. You can also select 'width' from the same menu but you'll have to scroll through to find the tread pattern, or in your case, no thread pattern
