New seat post advice

Hi all, new to the forum and after some advice.
I have an SDG Bel Air RT saddle. I’m looking for a new seat post and clamp to attach it my GT aggressor XC2 bike. Can you recommend a cheap black one?
The saddle has never really fitted to the original seat post. It’s usually loose and the existing clamp doesn’t seem capable of securing the saddle rails. The result being that the saddle is always as far back as it can be and I have to over tighten the clamp.
Thanks in advance.

Is saddle twin metal I. E not carbon rail?
What diameter seatpost, inline or offset?
Length?
What material, carbon fibre or alloy?
What sort of riding, xc or downhill?
How much are you wanting to spend?
Do you want plain finish or OK with garish logos?
Can you explain why current seatpost clamp is not holding the saddle in place
There are many brands which have different clamping arrangements, some are better than others, without knowing the answers to the above, it is not easy to make a recommendation.0 -
if you are looking for a decent yet cheap dropper look at the brand x. Its plain to look at but very functional and not over complicated so it tends to be reliable unlike some.
Also has a shifter style switch which everyone prefers to the other types0 -
