Good afternoon all.
Riding home tonight realized I had felt some serious play on my planet x london road headset.
Has anyone who owns a PX LR replaced the headset , if you have what size will I need and where would you advise I bought them from ?
Are they easy to fit?
All help greatfuly recieved.
Regards
ILG

Planet X carry a range of headsets under their Components/Finishing Kit section

Would seem logical that one of them should suit the London Road. Quickest just to call them and ask I would suggest.

My LR has an FSA headset I believe. Certainly FSA is written on it. If your bike is the same, could you look on their website to see if there's one looking like it?

Or speak to PX. They were reasonable when I dealt with them a few times over the phone.

You could go for the £40 option from Planet X or the £13 option from Wiggle like I did for my Full Monty.

    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/brand-x-headset ... d-steerer/

Took 10 minutes to fit, including fitting the crown race as it's a split race design so the crown and bearings just slid down the steerer then I dropped the upper race into the frame and added the compression ring etc.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
