I have atrekking bike that I use an Fc-mc36 chainset on. I have a feeling that the drive side crank is slightly worn allowing it to shift slightly and then work loose. If this is the case, can I buy just a drive side crank without chain wheels and if so, what is the modern equivalent? Thanks guys

I'm pretty sure I removed this exact crank from bike last week. I shall check when in work next.
For an equivalent, you'd need to find a 5 arm spidered square taper crank, with (I think) a 94/58 mm bcd to use your existing rings. And one that would give you the right chainline with your existing BB.0 -
Thanks supersonic. Any idea what part no that might be nowadays?0

It was a four arm one I took off, oh well! I'll keep looking though.
I'm not sure what todays equivalent would be, or if it even exists. Most MTB compact triple chainsets use a 104/64 combo, though there are others.0
