Spectral cf8.0 sizing

Hi,

I am just about to order a 2018 canyon spectral cf 8.0 but I am a bit concerned about the sizing. I am 187cm tall and inseam of 86.

The canyon website says “normally you would need an xl. However your inseam length shows us your saddle height would be about 76.1. A size large would be a better match”

Anyone of a similar size got any advice having ridden one?

    I'm 6ft 3in (190cm) and rode an XL earlier this summer, 89cm inseam with the 'book under crotch as high as it'll go method, I had a good amount of seat post showing between the collar and the frame, about 3-4 inches I think.

    XL and L would both fit you I think, the L would be bit more playful, agile with the XL more stable at speed.

    Check you're measuring your inseam correctly too, the best way however would be to get a bike, set the saddle to the correct height and measure it.
