Want to remove the freehub on my Verve 2, it takes something larger than a 10mm that the Youtube video I watched said is typical. 10mm apparently is the max size any of the typical places carry in-store. Looks like I'm going to have to order online.

Anyone know what size?

Thanks

11mm is the size you'll probably need - annoying isn't it...

Yup - definitely annoying. I ordered an 11, 12 and 13 from Home Depot, I'll keep whichever one it turns out to be.

However even at that, I may have to use the long end inside the free hub and a cheater bar. The L bend on the 10mm I have isn't long enough to reach the insertion area inside the free hub from either side.

If using an L type hex wrench you'll find is easier with short end in the jaws of a bench vice. You can then apply leverage to ease/tighten by holding the wheel rim.

Turns out the 12mm wrench fits.
