Can i put 28c tyres on to replace 23c ?

I currently have 23c tyres but i want to put 28c will there be enough space to put 28c?

    Very unlikely. What is it you want to achieve by fitting wider tyres?

    Looks very tight at the rear. I don't think I'd risk 25s even.

    Get an 8mm Allen key (5mm difference in tyre size plus min 3mm clearance) and put it in the gap. It will give you a guide if this is a good idea or not

    One thing I found on my Fuji Altamira was that although a 28 fitted in the frame, cleared the brakes and all that, it jammed up against the seat tube during wheel installation, almost preventing the QR from getting into the dropout. It did go with a bit of fiddling and if it came to it I would have tried mounting it with the tyre deflated.
