Aggressive hardtail for £1000

Hi all,
I'm in the market for a decent aggressive hardtail at around £1000, I can stretch out by about £100, but no more. I'd like to keep it cheaper, but if it is a vital upgrade I will go ahead and spend the slight extra.
I have looked at bikes like the Vitus Sentier VR+, but I'm not sure if there is anything better. I'd preferably want 27.5+ tires and a fork upwards of 130mm, the more travel, the better - for me at least.
I already own a 120mm full suspension, so I'm not looking for a full suspension, but a extra more aggressive hardtail.
