Short Hybrid commute today means legs get a rest. Not much planned for later.

Gorgeous sunny day, MF has the day off but he has some lesson prep to do and a load of chores. Time for coffee methinks.

I do like a nice party with the maenads. They can always be relied on to bring their A game, though they can be a bit thirsty.
Disappointing breakfast again, but a nice sunny ride awaits.

    Good Morning

Or not. Feeling off again, not much sleep, no riding (0.5 mile from car to office doesn't count).
Off to poke around in some basements later.

There was a lot of traffic going the other way this morning, not sure why.

Cold this morning and I'm in short sleeves...

Laying some fancy flagging tonight so better not balls it up or MrsHD will hit the roof!

    Morning
Just done my new physio ex’s. Now doing a few weights as well as the stretching. A bit wild and windy out might be a walk later once I’ve done some ironing.

    Morning folks,
Slightly slower start than usual as it was my turn to drop the girl child at school for an exam. English Lit today, not her favourite subject to say the least. Don't know about her but I'll be glad once this one is out of the way. Unfortunately having dropped her off I was then stuck with the car in rush hour traffic, should have chucked a bike in the boot. Now back to full on customer avoidance.

I got out the house pronto this morning to avoid any English lit related pre exam stress. Once In was on the bike I forgot about all of that :)

Now waiting to check that my new suit fits alright. Unlikely as every other time there's been something minor to change. Currently very hungry...

sungod where on earth do you work to justify these early starts?

Early start for me, extra long pedal into work. Working my notice so just slacking. May sign up to Eurosport so I can watch the Giro TT today as pirate streams are blocked on my work computer.

i don't sleep so much, especially as summer lengthens the daylight hours

What happened t the fly tipping thread? I guess there was a complaint from someone. Stevo was the last one to post but I couldn't click on it. Did the Garden Troll have a pop at me, shame if I missed it.

last time i looked it had degenerated into full-on trolling/racism from the usual suspects, probably been lifted in its entirety

i always wondered if gt was a cockster sock puppet, though it seemed to be even less coherent

chilled white wine, sunshine, blue cooked rib eye, fresh spinach salad, outside with a snoring hound at your feet and acoustic stereophonics on.

lessons given, random bloke in the street with broken bicycle problem helped out, sense of moral feeling high.

    yeah, it ain't bad.

Good point - didn't see anything after my last post. Probably Gnome being a d1ck. Definitely not me, I was being very innocuous and inoffensive for a change.

Just in case anyone was wondering, which I know you all were, MF just wandered past and he's looking ridiculously handsome.

He could get any woman in Hemel Hempstead he wanted tonight I reckon.

Negatron - just razor sharp wit and a particularly natty worn out camo shorts/Ugg boot combo.

Comfy yet practical. Like Richard's mother.

I reckon I could snare any woman in Aberdovey, decked out, as I am, in full evening dress with spats, enjoying a post prandial brandy.

Totally missed that one. Sounds entertaining.

Nice evening spent marshalling, or standing around enjoying the sunshine watching expensive bikes go by 8)

    Knock knock went the door.

Errr. My brother has smashed himself up. Can you help?

That's an hour of my life gone and a load of claret in my kitchen. And I don't mean wine.

Did you smash him with a hammer and chuck him over the fence?

think he had done that to himself tbh. Nothing my healing hands of POWER couldn't sort though.

I'll send MF round to burn their house down later.
