Riding Y Mynydd Red & Black Run at Cwmcarn (Gimbal POV)

Spent the day at Cwmcarn riding the DH with the Cwmdown uplift yesterday, it was my second time at Cwmcarn (last was August 2017) but my first time since they rebuilt the lower half the course to host the first round of the 2018 British Downhill Series!

Here's one of my runs down to the fireroad via the red/black DH trails, I'm still editing my attempts at the new jump run in the bottom half into something passable, so that will be to follow.

Good effort! Luckily nothing too serious and it seems you're sensible enough to be well kitted while riding.

I saw too many nasty injuries at BPW the first time that I went, that I bought a full face for subsequent visits.

It gets used once a year, but is a worthwhile investment.

Looking forward to more of your videos.

That's a good attitude to have, don't get me wrong places like BPW have trails for all abilities (within reason) but I sometimes see people all lycra clad with nothing but a roadie style helmet beginning their plod along a run I know to be fairly serious lower down and just cringe!
