Unbranded campagnolo cassette
Hi everyone,
I've got myself a 10 speed Campagnolo cassette as a free gift with a used bike I bought, but I can't work out what type it is (Veloce, Chorus etc.). It says Campagnolo on the sprockets but there is no other information apart from the sprocket size. Could it just be an unbranded model?
Thanks for your help,
Alex

Campagnolo sprockets are never marked with model designations.
All loose cogs/dull surface- Veloce
Loose cogs/shiny -Centaur
Cogs in pairs or triple spiders, all steel- Chorus
Cogs in pairs/triplets , titanium bigger cogs- Record
Or similar....0 -
Interesting... I think it must be Centaur - as it comes with one triplet and the rest are loose, and the 12-30T size matches the centaur model.

Centaur have a more satin finish than Veloce, and the latter are more shiny and cheaper. Some sellers state cassettes as being Centaur/Veloce combined, but they are really Veloce. Over a winter Veloce was wrecked and rusty, but Centaur over the previous winter was virtually unmarked.0
