A colleague of mine when visiting a patient was given a bag of Brazil nuts because the patient said they didn’t like nuts. Which she accepted and ate. When visiting again she noticed the patient had a jar of chocolate Brazil nuts. When she asked why do you get these if you don’t like nuts, they said they just sucked the chocolate off them.

I wonder how North Yorkshire will take to the Swiss flag being peddled through the lanes.

Do you honestly think that that lot can tell the difference between the Swiss flag and the St George's?
...the bike frame is a Titus Racer-X titanium FS one...

You can do what you like with that heap.

    Me doing... Nah, forget it.

Less doing of that and grass cutting tomorrow.
Could do with a squad of minions.

Right, let's see if this image hosting works then.
This is the frame I bought in Italy, it's wrongly labelled so was cheap. It is a Chesini as proved by the name on the top of the seatstays, C on the BB lugs and the logos on the fork crown.

So I bought another bike as it was cheap to pinch the bits off it, but it's actually quite nice apart from the seat.

Red thing is cool but doesn't the undercarriage thing get in the way when riding?

Why on earth would a Chesini have Vianelli on it?

Ta. Thankfully didn’t buy the crazy undercarriage thing. Going to remove the wrong stickers and get some correct ones on there. Don’t think I’ll repaint it as I quite like the worn look. Need to get some matching paint to touch it up though.

Hang on with the sticker removal. Just done a quick search. Vianelli was a former Italian pro who won the Olympic road race in 1968.
    Maybe there's a connection.

I think it moved to Brescia at some point and the shop restickered it to look like one of theirs. Like a car dealer sticking their name on a used car I guess.

You don't fancy all black components on the Gino Ginelli?

Can't quite figure the components on the blue bike.
Looks like Chorus bar the brake levers.

Bitsa, but it all works. Mirage rear mech and cranks, Tiagra front mech, but I just picked up a Record one off the bay. Shifters are Shimano so will have to go. Wheels are Record hubs with Mavic GP4 tub rims and new Vittoria Rally tubs. Need to get brake levers with external cabling and calipers with nut fixing though, I'll sell the bits I don't use.

Yes, that's what I thought and I had one of our vans collect it so saved on the carriage again.

No, we don’t go beyond the wilds of Bradford.
