So i was wondering if it is possible to put a TRUVATIV DESCENDANT crankset in place of a M800 XT crankset. Any help would be greatly appreciated and they both say something about a bottom bracket 68/73mm but i am not sure. Please help. Also unnecessary question but would a sram eagle chainring work with 11spd shimano or would i have to convert to an 11 speed chainring

A quick Google shows the chainset is available In pf30 and gxp variants.

Its unlikely that pf30 BB will fit your bike but gxp BB will.
Shimano BB spindle is 24mm whereas gxp is 24/22mm.
Either fit gxp BB cups or use shimano BB but with an adapter, I have done this 2 ways, use a 1mm strip of aluminium or use a modified bearing race. You will need a wavey washer to set the preload. Note. if none of this makes sense, then get complete gxp BB.

You can also buy off the shelf adaptors (such as J&L via ebay or someone's old Hope off ebay).

The wavy washer is unreliable and doesn't really do FA, i don't bother anymore.
