Hi guys, hope everyone's well!

If you have a spare couple of minutes it would be great if you could fill in a short survey.
I'm currently in the research stage of my final year project at Sheffield Hallam University and I'm looking at issues of the Safety of Cycling on the Road to then come up with a product to prevent any dangers from happening in the most efficient way. The survey is a quick 4 questions and will only take 5 minutes if that. All data is anonymous and will only be used for this project. Your feedback in welcomed!

Thanks for your cooperation!

Got stuck on Q1. Mountain biking I wear protection, commuting to the office/shops I don't.

    So I'm out.

Good luck with extracting any actionable data from those questions...

Err - those are a bit, well, useless really.

    Sorry.

It's that time of year again. I do wish the university spent a bit more time on teaching how to construct a survey.

Sorry but I'm not sure this is a survey from a college student, it's more like a middle school survey. There need to be more options. I weigh look and function equally, so what do I choose.

I'm guessing by now the pressure is on. My super ESP power sees a fail on the horizon.

You need to re-think these questions, they do not cater for all possible answers. Any results would be useless.

The “research stage” of this final year project seems to be quite long. Started in November, still going in May. How have you known what to focus on in the 6 months between, unless you are ignoring the research and just doing it to get some data to fit your outcome?
Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads
Trek 830 Mountain Track frame turned into a gravel bike - for anywhere & everywhere
  • Done answering it however I think these questions should be re-constructed and the choices/answers as well.
