I'm currently looking at a set of Exotic carbon forks for a BFE but wondered if there's some way to know what Axle to Crown measurement would be in terms of travel?

Looking at 46.5cm and really need at least 120mm travel on a BFE 26.

Pretty easy to find the axle to crown for any given fork by googling. For example, a 120mm 26" Reba is 493mm. You would probably run about 30mm of sag, so a 465mm rigid fork should work fairly nicely.

    Awesome mate, thank you.

I thought I might have needed a 29er fork which is 490mm but I didn't take sag in to account.

So it's pretty much 2.5 mm difference in the favor of being a bit higher than lower.

    Cheers

    You mean 25mm surely.

    493 - 30mm of sag = 463mm

    Rigid forks are 465mm

It ends up roughly equal to 120mm travel as it's a bit lower than the 130s on my other bfe but one is small frame and the other medium.
