Tektro-837AL brake replacement.

Hi,

I am trying to replace some used V-shaped Tektro-837AL in an old 26~ MTB i recently bought, I have found some affordable Shimano BR-M422 V-Brakes and I am wondering if these have some universal size so if one fits, the other one will definitely fit as well?

I will really appreciate if you could help me out and direct me on this, will a BR-M422 be a correct replacement to Tektro-837AL vbrakes or should I get Tektro-836AL which seems to have lower specs than the one to replace?
