Miche Express seem to be the off-the-shelf wheel of choice but I'm surprised they come in at 2.3kg. I would have hoped to get them 500 grams or so lighter.

Any other choices for my £150 or so? I don't want to pay much more for a mostly commuting wheelset.

I got some single speed wheels from PX a while back, but still @ 2kg. I'm guessing going to a wheel builder would be best as you must be able to build a light set from components, even if they don't seem to exist as off the shelf products.

    Or, these at just over £150 2kg: http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/WPAMEXLTD/ ... r-wheelset
