Planning an end-end but which side is better. Is one easier than the other. Heading over to Eastern England or keep west then head east in Scotland up the great glen
On a recent thread I saw someone saying the Glencoe road was dangerous. They definitely have a point, on a good day in summer it will be busy but in my experience it's fine, the road along the edge of Loch Ness was worse but still OK.
I did it with the Deloitte Ride across Britain, and they use a West route which I found to be fine.
Road into Scotland could do with a new surface, that's the longest censored numbing road I've been along, but some great roads otherwise, and some lovely vistas.
