Well nether is great value.
The Trek has the better fork, so for proper off road riding where that is the single most critical component then the tRek is better, the Fuji is much better value, much of the rest of the bike is better than the Trek and for the saving you could fit a better fork and still pay less!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
As you can see, I am on the heavier side. I need a bike for commute and may be some bike trails (paved/unpaved/footpath/light gravel). I am completely new to it.
And regarding the price, I have the Trek coming down to 350$ for me. So what would be a better option?0 -
I am sorry for the other thread. Would you be able to help me out with this? Like I said, I might get the Trek for 3490

I'd take Trek in that case.
The only item that will suffer with your weight are the wheels, you need to keep on top of axle bearing servicing.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Thanks a lot for your help. 1 last question if you don't mind, how would this fit with the bunch? https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bike ... Code=black
