When will R7000 start appearing?

Not thinking as a groupset but actually on bikes themselves.

As an example, you have the TCR advanced 2 currently available with 5800 for £1,150 from one retailer, the TCR 1 is on for £1,450 with R8000. Not in a position right now but if the TCR 2 came to market with R7000 for £1,150 then I'd be seriously interested in saving cash by opting for the R7000 model.

Or as I suspect with manufacturers just end up speccing R7000 late on in the year for 2019 model bikes?

That's what usually happens. You'll see it trickle out as it becomes available - on OEM bikes probably around August onwards. It's supposed to be available starting in June, generally the earliest you'll start seeing 2019 OEM bikes will be around August.

So far I've only seen the separate components listed on a couple of German retailer websites, with no indication of when they'll actually be available.

I'm waiting to see how they price an entire R7000 groupset when it arrives. With Ultegra there's still a big gap between the outgoing 6800 and R8000.

I’m betting it won’t be much cheaper than R8000 so might as well get Ultegra R8000 and enjoy the rest of the year!

Just noticed Tredz are listing the separate components for pre-order, availability 1st September.

Looks like Planet X are selling bikes with this group set now.
