Did my first long commute on the Brompton today, 16.2mph over 17 miles with 800ft of climbing. 0.7 mph faster than same route last week on my Genesis (lots of variables naturally).

Impressive Speed there - it's really not the clown bike that people make out.

Indeed, if there had been less of a headwind I could easily have topped 17mph.
