Hi everyone,

I am a 20 year old medical student and have decided that a charity cycle to berlin is a good plan!!
HOWEVER, as a student I am unable to buy a decent bike to ride on. I was wondering if anyone would be able to lend me a bike for the week (starting on 12th August). I am 5ft10. Any suggestions welcome!! Thanks in advance. Charlotte

If you're a student, why not ask the SU, or get in touch with the University cycling club.

It's not really a good plan if you don't have a bike.

None of your friends have a bike at all?

If you don't have a bike are you sure you have the fitness to ride to Berlin also? They make it look easy on the tele

Hi Charlotte, hope all is well.

    Interesting first post Charlotte !

So if you haven't got a bike - why would you think a week of bike riding is a good idea ?

Lets say you're in Cambridge - then its going to be about 100miles a day for a week.

And you haven't cycled. And its a new bike.
