Hi, I’m wanting to get my first set of carbon wheels and am tempted by the Firecrest 303 but there is a bit of a weight penalty over my lightweight alu wheels. The 202 are obviously lighter but would they offer much of an aero advantage? I’m approx 68kg and ride in Devon and Mallorca so hills and rolling terrain dominate. Mostly club runs/sportive/Gran Fondo type stuff as well as evening 10 TT.. which would be my best option, 202 or 303? Thanks

303s. Keep the alu rims too obviously. Zipps’s on a wet decent aren’t much fun. Getting tubs? Good way of reducing the weight and avoiding worry about long descents.

I have a set of 303’s but told myself if I was to replace them I’d have a look at the wheelsmith equivelent. Cheaper and you can put 240 hubs on from the get go.
