What are you hoping to fit your bike into? I know a few lads from Birmingham who specialise in fitting bikes into vans, maybe they can come round your way. What bikes you got?0 -

Dont mind travelling an hour or so. Heard about the bike magician in kirkham just wondered if people had actually had good reviews0 -

Me and a pal went to see Colin a few years ago on recommendation, and I have to say he was very good. (And very cheap compared with anyone else at the time, though that's not why we went, honest! No idea what he charges now. ) He sorted out a couple of little issues I had and I have remained good so far.
He made some radical changes to my pal's riding position, and initially he (my mate) was very sceptical. But he stuck with it, and after couple of weeks to readjust, claimed it had been a breakthrough in comfort.
Can't ask for more than that really.0 -

I went to Colin for my first bike. Made quite a few big changes such as saddle height and cleat position. He also pointed out I was pedalling with my toes pointed down too much. That helped a lot. It was about £40
Colin stopped doing bike fits for a bit and I went for another last year at Giant Blackpool in Bispham. Completely different method to Colin. Using a Wattbike and lasers and things. This one cost more and was about £75 If I remember rightly.
I've recently been using Cybele Velo in Blackpool it's like a cycling hub. Performance lab, cafe, shop, mechanic all under one roof. Their bike fit is a lot more involved. Looks at any existing injuries you might have etc. I've not had one there but you get a lot more than just a bike fit there.
All depends how serious you are taking things.0 -

I use Cybele too. Wasn't sure the bikefit was up and running as of yet.I have been out of the uk the last 5 weeks though working over in Aus. Back next thursday so will be back in when the weather is bad though and will enquire with scott about a bike fit there.
