I have an old Bianchi via Nirone bike and i want to buy a used Oltre XR2 frame.
The via Nirone has a BSA bb and the XR2 is a BB386 frame.
Will it be possible to fit the old mechs on to the new frame?
Will i need any bb adapter?
Thanks!

Depends on the crankset. If it's one that has a 24mm or 30mm hollow axle and uses external bearings when mounted on a frame with threaded BB, then yes, that will work fine in BB386 with the appropriate bearings. If it's a square taper (or Octalink, or ISIS) crankset, then no - the BB386 BB shell is too wide.
