Still on holiday which is good, weather starts to improve now, though get worse for PR this weekend0

Beautiful sunny start. Flat sea, but surf report suggests it's better later. My potential running partner has an injured ankle, so no luck there. Dinner at beach cafe later.0

Morning
It’s finally stopped raining here but looks like it might start again at any moment. I might have do some cleaning even though I’m not supposed to but the state of the house it’s getting on my t*ts. Since I took over the cleaning I think the missus has forgotten how the vacuum cleaner works.
Hopefully I might get a walk in as well.0 -
Morning
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Middle finger less swollen today. All enthusiasm still missing.
Ride on my singlespeed today, first time in ages. Good choice of bike as one road was under 6 inches of water.0 -
Morning folks,
Managed to wobble in again this morning, I wonder if Stevo made it on his first post op communt. It was a little moist, but not too cold at least. I now have lots of emails to catch up on and have been fending off phone calls from idiots, not been doing very well on that front but haven't told anyone to p!ss off yet. Only a matter of time I suspect.
Need to go out in search of scoff at some point. Until then more tea to wash the biscuits down, coffee machine is warming.0 -
Ah yes, Stevo is back to being a 'munter again. Hope he is lucky and suffers no mishap.
Was raining, isn't now but will be soon.
Pah!
May get out later, dodging wet spells.0 -

Unfortunately for you lot I was lucky and survived It was a bit soggy and I was pretty slow but had no pain during or after the ride, so that counts as a win. My right turn hand signals were a bit sh1t, mind. So will repeat on Friday and see what happens.

Afternoon. Morning out in the rain looking at tree stumps, got back for lunch, went for a run in the rain, now 'working' from home again. Going to drag the GF out for a run later too0

When I have two working arms I do the cleaning and cooking.0

I just had a massive strawberry ice cream. I'm absolutely knackered.0

Just got home, the Mrs has made pecan muffins. Mmmm...
Also knackered as I’m really not used to this cycling lark. Found a ticket on the car, I’m guessing the permit has run out. But with no printed permit and no email reminder how the fook am I supposed to know that?
Was flying along on the bike at 32ish, thought what felt like a cross wind must have had quite a tail wind thrown in. Then realised my Garmin had changed to km. I am feeble.0 -
Hi. Contemplating train strikes in France. Whilst in France y'understand..
Do I fancy driving a hired VW Polo from the South coast to Paris? No. Extended WFH?0 -

Evening, long old day, an appears one of the cleat mounts in my shoe have decided not to be a cleat mount any more so thats fun.
Now the debate on the shoe shall commence, stay with two hole or venture into three, oooh choices.
Anyway yes long day soggy start but dry an mild now which is nice. Lazy evening as my brain is frazzled from today, V68 send me some muffins please!0 -

I missed this. Mrs V68's pecan muffins are famed throughout bottom bracket. I must see if I can pop by one evening when baking has been happening.
I always work in km. Makes every ride faster and longer.0 -
