    Enjoy your day

Very wet here in the Cotswolds, puppy walked and now going to sleep by the radiator

We are having a relaxed day, so much walking and pub time. Might sneak a run in, though legs are tired after two hard runs this week

Weather looking reasonable for the rest of the week. Sea is flat, so no surfing.

Slightly soggy Monday here in Bromley, but rather today than tomorrow when I get back on the bike for the first time in about 10 weeks. I'm actually getting excited by the idea of communting to work tomorrow. Rock and roll.

    Morning folks,
Moist here as well so planning to continue not doing too much. Wife wants to go shopping for new couches. This could be expensive but should improve quality of lounging.
Friend of my mother appeared whilst we were over there yesterday, was being escorted by her daughter that I knew when we were younger. Very nice to see her again, wife wasn’t so impressed.
Good luck with the communt tomorrow Stevo.

Soggy here in the Creative County as well means I am less likely to be dragged out somewhere I don't want to go on a bank holiday. Loads of coffee drunk and a big fry up inside me.
    Life is grand.

Morning, damp here, snowing every so often. The weather was rubbish here so we checked the weather and headed up to Aviemore for the first outing in the van. Arrived on Friday night just in time to get smashed at the Pine Marten bar, pretty bitter and light snow Saturday then stunning sunshine yesterday. Met up with some friends and got smashed on saturday night. Very much enjoying this van thing, it means both of us can get smashed together and no one has to drive.

'Working' from home again today, currently trying to fix my chainsaw and half looking at new hiking boots online.

    Morning
Rain here in North Yorkshire and lots of it. Bored already so much so that I even watched the women’s Tour of Flanders, which up to the last 40K looked a bit like a club run. Where everyone pootles along then goes hard on the hills and repeat on every hill.
Hasn’t really inspired me to head out to the garage for yet another turbo session.

having finished off the degluing, time to reverse the process, first layer applied

in spite of open windows and ventilation going full blast i'm feeling a distinct buzz from the combination of isopropanol, acetone, and mastik 'one

booked bombay brasserie for din tomorrow as i fancy a curry, mrs s has suggested this wasn't what we'd planned, but i pointed out that i fancy a curry, plus it's got a bar and some interesting cocktails, and i fancy a curry

time to head out to let the fumes clear

Surf got up, just back from a quick hour and a half on the ebbing tide with the boy. Most acceptable 3 or 4 foot swell with an off shore breeze. Nearly as good as riding a bike.

    Meh. Snowing here.
Dodgy internet and mobile connection at the hoose in the sticks.

Haven't come across any pineapple trees here. Funny that.

Must get on and do some research.

Some power garden tool stuff again today, turning shrubbery into wood chip and mulch. Miscellaneous other tasks done.

    Windy though.

Currently trying to fit mudguards to one of the bikes. I can see why people use zwift all winter now.

I would, but the surfing beach is closed to dogs, I suppose to avoid coming face to face with a bobbing turd.

    Pity that.

I've been to Norfolk a few times where nearly every beach allows dogs on all year round and we never saw a dog sh1t in the sea. From memory the West Country is stricter.

from observation, uncontrolled dogs don't shit in the sea, they shit on the beach, then it gets washed into the sea, and then if it's night and they growl at you they get clubbed to death with a big maglite and then wash into the sea, either way it messes up the surf

either there's no wifi in the seychelles or mf has been abducted by somali pirates, although i think he went dark on the first leg, perhaps he couldn't handle the onboard bubbly and has been dragged off to dubai central?

Think we’ve killed the puppy - I’ve think he’s done 10 miles today and hasn’t moved from the pub floor for an hour
  • Nothing done today. Read a bit, worked my way through the Sint Bernadus range, cooked steak and now having some red wine. Thought of work tomorrow is seriously depressing - perhaps I’ll be made redundant soon and be put out of my misery.
Rained all day and brightened up about 6. I love bank holiday weekends. Later this week - commuting on the tourer!
    Still no pineapple...

I poured most of a pint of cider on my dog's head once, he loved it then was sick everywhere. We all know that feeling I'm sure.

Sorry, don't have any. Latin type, quite short but very pretty with a bit of a hippy chick thing going. Quite left wing, would get on great with you and Stevo I'm sure.
Of, managed to ride a bicycle this afternoon. Short ride on the mucky bike, got very mucky but good fun. Copmletely out of breath and coughing by the time i got back.
