Bike insurance question

Apparently in the next few hours a Chinese satellite is going to re-enter the Earths atmosphere and crash land.

It got me and a mate thinking... what would you do if the satellite landed here and took out your prized possession, the biggest thing in your life, the one thing you couldn't imagine your life without?

Does bike insurance cover against crashing satellites ?

    You could read your policy and find out...

    But the answer would generally be yes, as most damage will be on an all risks basis, and there would have to be a specific exclusion against it for cover not to apply.
