Bib shorts with smaller or thinner pad

Due to ongoing saddle issues I’m finding that bib shorts with a smaller and/or thinner pad make the issue much better.
For example my Rapha core shorts have quite a large pad that can also ruckle up if I move around.
Anyone have any decent recommendations? I’d imagine what I am after is shorts designed more for racing (which I do) than all day comfort. Appreciate that might sound odd or be wrong.
No need to advise about bike fits, saddles etc (I’m on the case).
Many thanks

These badgers:
http://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/shorts/endura-fs260-pro-bibshorts-64-99A comfortable pair of bib shorts is an essential piece of kit. In creating the Endura FS260 Pro SL bib shorts, the Scottish clothing company has realised that the current ergonomics applied to bib shorts does not suit everyone. For example, just because you are 6’4″ and 100kg, does not necessarily mean that you have really wide sit bones.
I wear them with the narrow pad, to match my Ariones, and it works very well.
Doubly so if you get lucky in a sale, and can land them for only £50 or sometimes even less.
I'm surprised not more manufacturers produce bibs like this.
Personally, I found the standard length too much like hotpants, and that one pair are kept for the turbo, the long leg option is much more me, coming to.just above my knee.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Good call, I think they were the first shorts I ever bought, I was measured up yesterday at 143mm on sit bones. (6ft, 70kg), ill put those on short list.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Short list. I see what you did there.
Bargain price if the right size, width and length.

Looks like they have a mark 2 successor:

Do bear in mind what it says about potentially sizing down. At 65/67kg I can, and do, shoe horn myself into an xs pair, though I also generally do have to size down with most brands to have straps that are tight enough.
For comparison, I wear small in Rapha and Castelli.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Bioracer's vapor chamois is pretty compact and comfy. Can be got in their own branding or as Stolen Goat Ibex. Nice shorts in general, my favourite for up to about 3 hours.0

Tri shorts are designed for cycling and running with a minimal pad as you don't want a big load for running.
They don't do them as bibs though unless you get the full top and bottom in one set.0 -

7mm pad, and a built in fly... thy are good and pad is low profile ( the 400 mile jobbies are excellent but obviosuly much thicker)
Get a skin cooler beanie and jersey or long sleeve shirt while you're there if you bike on hot sunny conditions.0 -
