Time out from Man V Nature activities here today, because it was such a spectacular day. And we're both a bit smashed up from yesterday...

Walked down to the beach with sun shade, book, and drinks. 3 hours later, ambled back for coffee and more laziness. Breeze now dropped out altogether, so having a pre-dinner aperitif watching sundown over the mountain...

    Quality day.

five minutes out and rear gatorskin tub showed it was no match for london's soggy and glass strewn roads, cut right on the centreline at the 'toughest' bit, tufo extreme saved the day, again

cold, damp and gloomy out, may need to drink more wine

Hang on, I’m supposed to be doing that. Thought she was happy because I was taking her out, I’m going to have to go and have words.

Got the decorator round to finish off the kitchen so sitting here lazing with the hound while that goes on. May get round to doing jobs and exercise later on but could do with some food soon.

    Definitely dangerous at both ends.
Anyway she’s out with me, unfortunately having decided we need new sofas. So I’m now sat on a sofa in John Lewis.
Going for scoff at my favourite Italian next so all is not lost.
