Brake lever hoods

I've heard it mentioned in a forum thread or two that these Cane Creek-Dia Comp copies can work OK for your style of brake levers. Never seen it in the flesh applied though so can't say with certainty. I would imagine some bike shops may have these in stock for you to eyeball a little closer. https://www.niagaracycle.com/categories ... aero-black0

We all used to have similar brakes back in the early 80s. You might just need to hunt round to see if anyone stocks them.
A pal of mine had brake hoods from a company called Dae Yung. Not sure if they're still going...0 -
Yep, there should be plenty out there. Try googling for non aero brake hoods. Normally available in black white and brown. They're old style brake levers from before the new fangled aero brakes became standard.0

I bought some NOS gum brake hoods (Modolo) that split rather too soon - was I just unlucky?0

I would imagine there is a risk with ‘new, old stock’ with an item like rubber as it could well perish/ degrade depending on how it has been stored etc.
